  • National Crime Agency v R & Others: Operation Venetic: One of the world’s largest ever police operations that resulted in the legal ‘hacking’ of the military grade encrypted ‘EncroChat’ network allegedly used by the world's biggest organised crime networks. Instructed on an alleged international class A drugs conspiracy involving networks in Bolivia, Belgium and the United Kingdom. Ongoing.
  • National Crime Agency v A: Operation Subtlety: Investigated by the Federal Bureau of Investigations in the United States of America and the National Crime Agency in the United Kingdom. Prosecuted by the International Justice and Organised Crime Division of the Crown Prosecution Service concerning the alleged hacking and blackmail of Apple Inc. by a member of the “Turkish Crime Family” regarding the compromise of 319,000,000 iCloud accounts. Widely reported in the international press. Suspended sentence achieved after comprehensive mitigation submitted to the court.
  • Royal Military Police v Military Intelligence: Advised an elite member of HM Forces on allegations surrounding international counter-espionage operations. Ongoing.
  • East Midlands Special Operations Unit (serious organised crime) v M & 19 others: Operation Blessed: Complex investigation involving covert and overt police special operations units utilising forensic and cyber intelligence concerning the alleged supply and production of controlled drugs throughout the county of
    Leicestershire and beyond. Ongoing.
  • R v S – Operation Rolpa: Murder, firearms possession and s18 GBH in relation to a shooting and stabbing that was widely reported in the national press. Prosecution discontinued by the Crown.
  • Police (Special Operations Unit) v EA – Operation Navigate: International Money Laundering conspiracy in relation to a multimillion pound complex investment fraud being investigated by multiple international agencies including Europol. Elements from Hong Kong, Columbia, Belgium, Belize, Spain, Taiwan, Cayman Islands and the UK involved. No further action taken by the authorities.
  • Homicide Squad v F & others: Operation Semley Alleged organised crime involvement in a multi-handed murder, attempted kidnap, conspiracy to burgle. This case involves multiple forensic experts and is ongoing at the Old Bailey.
  • R v C: Operation Alpha: Alleged conspiracy to carry out international DDOS cyber attacks investigated by a regional cyber command. Client also charged with drug production and money laundering offences in a complex case comprising of 35,000 pages of evidence. A Community Order imposed after comprehensive submissions made to the court.
  • Police v F – Operation Neatcroft: Investigation of an alleged perverting the course of justice relating to a widely reported murder. No further action taken by police.
  • HMRC v S: £145,000,000 money laundering case involving a 6 month covert surveillance operation by specialist units of HMRC. Our client’s both bailed from the police station.
  • Police v H – Operation Newes: A political candidate arrested for assisting offenders in relation to a widely reported murder in London. No further action taken by police.
  • R v R – Operation Crinse: This police operation involved a police helicopter, a high speed chase surrounding a surveillance operation against an organised crime gang suspected of conspiracy to supply class A drugs. This matter received press coverage and is Ongoing.
  • R v A & Others: – Operation Portroyal: five-handed widely reported alleged gang-related murder that was widely reported in the national press.
  • R v D & Others – Operation Newlodge: Perverting the Course of Justice linked to a widely reported murder in London. Our client was acquitted after a two week trial at the Old Bailey whilst the other co-defendants were imprisoned.
  • R v M – Operation Santa Fe: Involved a conspiracy to attack an individual with acid and causing gun powder to explode. Instructed post-conviction, this matter is Ongoing.
  • R v L – Operation Cabrilaa: Conspiracy to supply class A drugs in a multi handed case. Violent gangs special operations police unit deployed against an alleged organised crime organisation using covert operations and technology to gather specialist intelligence.
  • National Crime Agency v W – Operation Catalonian: Client linked to a worldwide organised cybercrime network and alleged to have blackmailed hundreds of people using cyber ‘sextortion’. Ongoing.
  • R v H – Operation Falcon: Representing a Director alleged to have misappropriated hundreds of thousands of money from a well known media company. Ongoing.
  • R v W – Operation Hatria: Representing an alleged member of the “Lizard Squad” hacking group in a serious alleged possession of over 100,000 identities for the use in fraud and for possession of various databases belonging to foreign governments and witness intimidation. Client received a non custodial sentence.
  • Police v H – Operation Jetstream: Alleged corporate espionage involving serious Computer Misuse Act offences. No charges have been brought to date.
  • R v W – Operation Herbose: Intelligence-led sting in conjunction with the Counter Terrorism Firearms Team on a youth alleged to have been in possession of a firearm.
  • R v P & Others: – Operation Claw: Fourteen-handed widely reported large scale alleged violent disorder that resulted in an attempted murder outside of Sugar Hut Club (as made famous by the TV show “The Only Way is Essex”).
  • National Crime Agency v P – Operation Nasicorn: National Crime Agency prosecution into the breach and theft of 3’s database. Successful defence of £500,000 Compensation Order. Costs successfully claimed from the Crown.
  • R v D & Others – Operation Slade: Conspiracy (8 defendants) to supply class A drugs after a 6 month covert police operation. This case involved cross-border serious organised crime.
  • Police v P – Operation Thistle: Multimillion pound international cyber fraud. No further action taken by police.

  • R v H – Operation Falcon: Representing a Director alleged to have misappropriated over £230,000 from a well known media company. The defence successfully argued an £80,000 reduction and the with comprehensive mitigation submitted, we successfully achieved an excellent result at court for our client.
