Instructed on an alleged international class A drugs conspiracy involving networks in Bolivia, Belgium and the United Kingdom. Ongoing.
  • National Crime Agency v A: Operation Subtlety: Investigated by the Federal Bureau of Investigations in the United States of America and the National Crime Agency in the United Kingdom. Prosecuted by the International Justice and Organised Crime Division of the Crown Prosecution Service concerning the alleged hacking and blackmail of Apple Inc. by a member of the “Turkish Crime Family” regarding the compromise of 319,000,000 iCloud accounts. Widely reported in the international press. Suspended sentence achieved after comprehensive mitigation submitted to the court.
  • Homicide Squad v F & others: Operation Semley Alleged organised crime involvement in a multi-handed murder, attempted kidnap, conspiracy to burgle. This case involves multiple forensic experts. A not guilty verdict was achieved.
  • Homicide Squad v H: Operation Tambov: Advising on a multi-handed murder allegation widely reported in the national press. No further action taken by police.

Robust defence, including the instruction of a forensic accountant, led to the prosecution to agree a reduced about of £150,000 from the £230,000 our client was originally charged with.   • R v B & Others: Operation Trent: Advising our client in a covert investigation by East Midlands Special Operations Unit (EMSOU) into Leicester based Organised Crime Gang (OCG) involved in sourcing, distribution, the sale of controlled Class A drugs namely heroin and crack cocaine in Leicestershire, and the enforcement of the national supply lines using weapons such as knives and a firearm. The investigation involves Surveillance, Imagery and CCTV, Search, Seizure and Arrests, ANPR, Telecoms, (Call Data, Attribution, CDRs), Forensics and Expert Evidence. Ongoing.
  • National Police v H - Operation Cyclorama: client alleged to have caused serious life-threatening injuries in a road traffic accident. No charges to date.
  • R v SH & Others: Operation Raptor: A Large scale drugs conspiracy of an alleged serious organised crime operation. Ongoing.
  • East Midlands Special Operations Unit (serious organised crime) v M & 22 co-defendants: Operation Blessed: Complex investigation involving covert and overt police special operations units utilising forensic and cyber intelligence concerning the alleged supply and production of controlled drugs throughout the county of Leicestershire and along other county lines. Ongoing. .
  • R v S – Operation Rolpa: Murder, firearms possession and s18 GBH in relation to a shooting and stabbing that was widely reported in the national press. Prosecution discontinued by the Crown.
  • Police (Special Operations Unit) v EA – Operation Navigate: International Money Laundering conspiracy in relation to a multimillion pound complex investment fraud being investigated by multiple international agencies including Europol. Elements from Hong Kong, Columbia, Belgium, Belize, Spain, Taiwan, Cayman Islands and the UK involved. No further action taken by the authorities.
  • R v C: Operation Alpha: Alleged conspiracy to carry out international DDOS cyber attacks investigated by a regional cyber command. Client also charged with drug production and money laundering offences in a complex case comprising of 35,000 pages of evidence. A Community Order imposed after comprehensive submissions made to the court. This matter received national press interest.
